Henry and June was founded in 1997 with the mission of selling sexy lingerie through a tasteful, easy to use online store backed by rapid, courteous email service. Henry & June is named after American author, Henry Miller, and his wife June, a couple who became famous for refusing to pay attention to Victorian boundaries. Since they were sexual revolutionists and lovers of love, the founders decided to pay tribute to their adventurous attitudes by naming their lingerie store after them.
